About Us

Behind every cake at Artisan Cakery is Stuart, our baker, chief taste tester and increasingly self-appointed local celebrity.

Stuart bakes all our cakes himself, having learnt the craft from his grandmother. What started with lessons in her kitchen grew into a love of baking, and today he brings that same care to every batch. From nostalgic favourites to chocolate-loaded treats, these are cakes made to put a smile on your face.

And thanks to our social media blowing up, it’s safe to say Stuart is enjoying his moment in the spotlight. We’re trying to keep him humble, but if he starts charging for autographs, we apologise in advance.

For now, he’s still busy baking. Pop in, pick your favourite and meet the man behind the mixing bowl,  just don’t mention the fame. We’ll never hear the end of it.
